God's Faithfulness in spite of Israel's Unbelief and Disobedience

Old Testament · Pentateuch

Summary

Numbers resumes the history of Israel where Exodus ended. Israel is at Sinai, ready to enter the promised land. Due to their Unbelief and Disobedience, the entrance was delayed forty years. This book reveals the Consequences of Unbelief and Disobedience among God's people. Their failure caused fellowship with God to be broken, entrance to land delayed 40 years, and that generation died. It also reveals God's Faithfulness—their failure did not cut them off from God. He protected them in the wilderness and provided all they needed.
